Stripey Scarf

Sweet, simple scarf made in granite (or moss) stitch. I used Diva Dan's (of the Crochet Crowd) color combo in "Chic Princess" and Biscuits & Jam's random stripe generator to come up with the stripe pattern.

Materials used: 5 colors of worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart Super Saver in Black, Aran, Baby Pink, Charcoal, and Light Grey.
Size "I" crochet hook
Finished size 7 x 72 inches (approx)

Instructions:
With first color (A) - chain 31 (or however wide you want with an even number of chain + 1)
Row 1: sc in 3rd chain from hook, *ch1, sk next ch, sc in next ch. Rep from * across. Ch 2, turn
Row 2: sk first sc, * sc in next ch1 space, ch 1, sk next sc, rep from * to last space, sc in turning ch2 spac, ch 2
Repeat Row 2 for pattern changing color per stripe pattern (or as desired!)
Finish off and weave in all ends.
